Do you need anyone to help carry your bags? Rome is probably my favourite city.Off to Rome in a couple of weeks ...

I didn't use the tour bus and found some nice small places off the beaten track, but that's not to say you should or shouldn't use the tour bus. I was quite conscious of thieves and pickpockets there from warnings that I had, though I cant say they were obvious or not, I didn't have any issues but I didn't advertise my tourist status...
Cant remember the exact name, but if you get a chance go and see the fountain, no doubt some one will help out on that (as I've miss layed the book on Rome)
Trevi fountain?
One of the best cities in the world. I haven't one specific favourite but found the collosseum and the vatican fascinating. Paid for a guide for half a day which was worth it and although I don't remember exactly how much it cost it was reasonable.
I felt safe there although pick pockets are a problem, avoid people approaching you with a piece of board which they use to disguise their sly hands! Oh and the "head of a fashion house" tried to sell me a pile of designer kit but he was so obvious it was comical.
Enjoy mate it's a great place![]()
