Yes
I dare say this has been asked many times before, but where would you recomend heading for on Mull?

Glengorm, Calgary, Iona

Go and sit by some rocky beaches for a while and see if you can get an otter.

Have a fun time.

There was a Mull/SKye thread, and I'll repeat my comment - The Steak and Ale pie followed by the Clootie dumpling at the Craignure Inn is great.

As for photos, I will leave that for someone else!

thanks guys - otters are definitely on the wish list (having not found any at all on Skye earlier this year) - but knowing exactly where to find them could be very useful :D

will have to look out for the steak and ales pie too

If they're running, any of the Sealife Safaris out of Tobermory are great. We went on one last year and were treated to a flying display by 2 white tailed eagles which were only a couple of hundred yards from the boat. and we saw basking sharks and sunfish too. Cracking day out.

thats sounds pretty good :d but my GF has a broken foot in a half leg cast, whats the access to the boat like?

Mull isn't that big - go everywhere and don't miss anything :-)

Have a look for the Mull/Skye thread mentioned earlier - there'll be stuff on that for you. I suggested on that Tobermory and Duart Castle as well as the combined trip to Iona and Fingal's Cave on Staffa.

If I remeber rightly it was a fairly big boat with a couple of steps down to it from the jetty. Not too difficult, but best to check first I think. This was the company we went with.
