Non UK Off to Hong Kong

The walking trails round the Peak are beautiful as are the ones near Sai Kung if you want to travel out of the city a bit. The Sheung Yiu Country Trail is particularly outstanding.
I have to say that HK is just chock full of photo opportunities day and night. The street markets are just brilliant for both shopping and shooting.

There is also a Tian Tan Buddha near the airport with a cable car ride up, some great views and worth a visit

Do check out the symphony of lights over the harbour every evening at 20.00 - it's spectacular

if you like wildife, an interesting walk but quite far into hong kong is luk keng which borders china, it's a national park and full of abandoned villages that wild life has taken over like kuk po.

Hong Kong is actually great for hiking outside of the regular tourist haunts and public transport is very efficient. If you do go to my suggestion, the easiest way is to take the train to fanling then outside the train station there are 16 seater green minibuses to luk keng or you could take a taxi.
