Off to Hong Kong with work and apart from the Cityscape does anyone have any recommendations? I generally shoot most things but love wildlife/birds etc
The walking trails round the Peak are beautiful as are the ones near Sai Kung if you want to travel out of the city a bit. The Sheung Yiu Country Trail is particularly outstanding.
I have to say that HK is just chock full of photo opportunities day and night. The street markets are just brilliant for both shopping and shooting.
My father went a few years back and the most memorable photos he took was one of the Bruce Lee statue in the Avenue Of The Stars and ones from a river trip he went on.
if you like wildife, an interesting walk but quite far into hong kong is luk keng which borders china, it's a national park and full of abandoned villages that wild life has taken over like kuk po. http://hongwrong.com/kuk-po-abandoned-village/
Hong Kong is actually great for hiking outside of the regular tourist haunts and public transport is very efficient. If you do go to my suggestion, the easiest way is to take the train to fanling then outside the train station there are 16 seater green minibuses to luk keng or you could take a taxi.
