odt file, pics printing dark

created a file in open office word which had pictures put on, saved as an odt file, it prints fine on my printer, but the person who wanted the file to print is experiencing problems, the pics come out dark.

options tried

printed direct from email
printing from office word (microsoft office i believe)
saving file and printing from the file menu.
paper settings correct.

Am I missing something obvious? its an epson sx525 printer.

Any ideas?

Are both screens and printers calibrated for example.

I doubt the other laptop is calibrated in anyway other than factory settings. I have never touched calibration on my laptop or printer, when i print here with anything there are no issues.

Had a message to say its sorted, something to do with a setting, but I haven't got the exact reply of what was altered. Thanks for replying.
