I am hoping someone has come across something like this before, and knows how to resolve it, because I'm stumped.

I am putting together a poster for a charity event I am organizing. If you look at the text for the Frank Sinatra singer, the N in Antony and the O in sound are partially missing.

When I go in to edit the text, it comes back, but as soon as I finish editing text, it goes back.
I thought it was just a graphics quirk, but it's still there when I export it as a jpeg. So I need to get this fixed before printing!

Anyone got any ideas please?

Not heard of this before. So when youve edited the text. Do the letters go missing straight away eg: if you zoom in are they cut in half still or do they break up after being saved as jpeg ?

The moment I come out of editing the text I get the problem.
I have tried turning off all other layers yet it still occurs.

I also tried inserting new text. If I remember right, I still had the problem but with different letters.

Actually, I think I did try saving to pdf and I don't think the errors filtered through with that, just in jpeg, but I shall have to double check that tonight to be sure.

What font and size are you using? and if you just write the same word on a blank page the same size what happens?

The font is kalinga, standard windows font, nothing fancy that I've added. Size iirc is about 36px.
I've tried re-writing it with all other layers turned off, but not tried a new page yet.

Try turning anti-aliasing off, that font doesn't seem to like it.

Oh thank you! I shall give it a go when I get in this evening.

Yeah, it affected a few things.
But worked like a charm and all is good now. That's not something I've noticed/thought to play with before.

Thanks for your help. :)
