odd iphoto problem

Hi all

started getting a strange issue in iPhoto, im finding images are going slightly out of focus! when first viewed there pin sharp then scroll to the next then go back and image pops slightly OOF come out then go back and pin sharp again. making editing a major pain in the bum, seems worse in full screen mode...

its iPhoto 09, i wondering if to upgrade to the latest version or even go for aperture as been thinking on aperture recently :shrug:

Is this not just a case of iPhoto rendering the image when it first opens it?

If so, this is quite normal, especially when working with RAW files. It is just iPhoto reading and processing the RAW data.

I find mine does that (iphoto 11) when I zoom in, but if I click on the "dot" on the bottom left zoom bar, it comes straight back into focus.
