I've been using OS X's Mail for several years (and under NextStep before that =
, and have quite a few rules in place to sort everything into the right mailbox, mostly one per mailing list. It's all worked quite uneventfully until recently.
It all does still work fine. But - there's one person who eludes me. Yes, one specific person, posting to one mailing list. And for whatever reason, I can't filter their messages. The one for that list doesn't catch them, despite their Mailing-List-Id header being just the same as everyone else's. Even having a rule explicitly just for them, at the very top of the list of rules, has no effect - his always wind up in my own mailbox, as if directed to me.
Logically, it's as if that one person is causing the rules to simply not be run, somehow. My best guess is some obscure bug, possibly within the GPGMail plugin, as that's the only Mail plugin I use; they do GPG sign their messages, whilst many don't.
Has anybody else encountered this?
It's not a huge matter, but it's sufficiently oddball that I'd enjoy getting to the root of it. ^_^
