according to the news this morning president obama said "africa is on the move " would i be cynical in suggesting yes he's probably right but left out the destination ,i.e dover via calais .:exit:

He also says that the UK should remain in the EU. The man says a lot of thing, starting to remind me of Prince Philip ;)

Good on him :)

Good on him :)

I must admit thinking WTF! when I heard a snipped of his speech on the radio yesterday,
it sounds like someone wants a United States of the World.
What worries me is that a few people have tried that in the past, through history ;)

It was all a bit weird but great for the journalist involved.

When any American president says what he wants other countries to do he (maybe she next time) means because it is what would be best for America's interests.

IIRC the words he used were "Would give him more confidence to trade"

That doesn't really sound like a veiled threat does it?
;)

Aye, maybe they should start an AU, American Union, and see how he feels when all his countries powers etc start getting eroded by some tw@t in Panama :ROFLMAO:

At least he'll get to keep a nice Hat, what do we get?

A small shot of cheap liquor after dinner? :)

I think they have something like that, but the last time some of the members tried to leave the US it ended very bloodily!

Yup,him as president and Jeremy Corbyn as PM would make for interesting anglo/american relations, look forward to it.
Both are alike in that they appeal to the core grassroots support of their party, yet have no chance of actually winning an election.
