i have adobe elements 7 is it worth buying nikon nx to adjust my raw images or is elements just as good ??? :bang:

I wouldn't bother with NX. If anything I would rather buy Abobe Lightroom. Not sure how it compares to Elements 7, which I have never used / seen.

BTW Nikon became gready recently, few years ago NX was included with my D300 but wasn't with D3S.

Capture NX2 is very good but quite expensive.
If you use elements 7 to do the "pixel" editing then download View NX2 from Nikon, its free and faster than Capture NX2.

It uses the same algorithms as Capture NX2 but does not have all the extra adjustments so it is more efficient.

You can also edit metadata, batch process etc.

Capture NX2 has all the above plus Control Points, Selection Tools, Heal tool etc etc
