Hi all, I was directed here by a guy on a Facebook page, so I thought I'd pop my head in to see what all the fuss is about.
I'm an enthusiastic newcomer to the photography world, but am willing to learn all you are prepared to throw at me. I'm so new that I don't believe I really have a 'style' as such yet. I have no preferences as to what I'll shoot either....You are ALL fair game when I have a camera in my hand
I am currently enjoying gig photography and cool animals,but macro is starting to pull at my creative tendrils a bit too.
I have amassed quite a collection of equipment over the last few months too, as I'm a bit of a bargain hunter. I have 3 'main' camera's. A Nikon D40x, a Panasonic GF1 and a Sony Nex 5. I also have an Olympus superzoom compact and a Canon mid zoom compact.....Oh, and an old Lumix TZ4 that I used to adore when I couldn't afford any better stuff
I also have around 25 lenses now, that I keep picking up from various places, the most expensive being the 55-200mm Nikon, and the cheapest being a PrinzGalaxy 400m prime that I picked up for the prinzely sum of £2.21. (I don't expect much from that one!)
I'll probably post a few of my efforts here to be picked apart by the resident experts. Most are taken on full manual. I'll try to include the Exif data, if I remember it. I'm here to learn, so please don't hold back when appraising them.
