NOW TV on Virgin TIVO box

Can I get a day pass and use it for the football this afternoon on my TIVO box or do I need the NOW TV box, I am sure it was possible some years ago, but don't want to buy if its not going to work.

When I switched to Virgin a couple of years ago, I was told I couldn't get NOW TV through the TIVO, I'd have to get a NOW TV box. Don't know if it's changed since though.

I remember getting a day pass but that was a good few years ago on an older box, now NOW TV have their own box I think it may have changed, but cant seem to find any useful info on the net.

Just bought the day pass £7.99 and will simply plug my laptop into TV via an HDMI cable, if that fails then I will just watch on my laptop......job done.
