You would need a Charles Atlas course to carry one of these,
and a healthy bank ballance to pay for it, but that is an awsome lens.

For what it's worth, if you couple this lens to a Rebel XTi or EOS 40D you end up with the 35mm-equivalent of 1920/5.6, a 2688/8 with a 1.4x extender, and a 3840/11 with a 2x extender.

Oh! You can put the £20 note away. The 1200mm comes with it's own custom built tripod and flight case.

Do I get first dibs on borrowing the 1200mm when you get it now?

now Im gonna have to change my car to a Landrover to carry them, a hoist & some form of tripod (not Jessops or Aldi)
what about filters to protect the lens ??? (perhaps a window glazing company) :shrug:
