Now That's Service!

Apologies I didn't see the post by the company owner and it wasn't directed at them. I was more referring to how I've used many cheap and rapid printing services of all kinds and I've yet to have a good result. But maybe this is the one we've all been looking for? Sorry for the upset anyway.

No worries Will, I think you just need to be more specific and think a little before you write on the forum as the first comment in these thread was definitely a step to far.... but thanks for the apology, I'm sure others on here will appreciate it too.

Again thanks for the support all, I will continue to use the forum, so if anyone has questions etc please do ask or phone our office on 08456838662 or visit our site.(not sure on forum rules so won't post a link)

I'll try and call next week - the sticking point for us maybe that we need to set up an account and pay by order number and invoice - as i'm not going to be putting £500 odd of work expenditure on my credit card

What a fantastic service, it puts the company I have just dealt with to shame.

I was desperate for a printer waste cartridge after my printer stopped over the weekend.

So I placed an order 10 Mins past midnight Monday morning with a company after seeing this statement on there website.......

Delivery is a flat rate of only £2.50 per order, regardless of order size
We dispatch orders by 1st Class Royal Mail
Over 98% of orders placed with 365ink before 3pm Monday to Friday are delivered the next working day.

Needless to say when I contacted them to verify the order would be dispatched quickly, this is the reply I recieved......

Normal delivery is 1-3 working days so you may get it before 72hrs

Still waiting, hopefully it may turn up tomorrow.
I must be one of the other 2%

Just to update. This order eventually turned up Thursday Lunchtime.

Hi Ben and welcome, well it seems you are true to your word  In all honesty you cannot really blame anybody for the comments, in this day and age people are more sceptical than ever especially without seeing first hand what a company can offer in terms of quality, and parting with cash beforehand makes you feel even more dubious. Even the Op said " Just hoping now that the quality is decent but guess I'll find out tomorrow. " I would still ask however why you have not got any examples or prices on your website  as personally I want to see what is available before I go to the trouble of registration.

Cheers for the welcome, I don't really blame people for being sceptical as our turn round, quality etc can seem to good to be true, however from my personal point of view, I would never negatively comment on a product from a company if I never had first hand experience with them..... But everyones entitled to an opinion, all I can do is make sure my company stays at the forefront of canvas production to put doubters minds at ease. To answer your question about prices, we do not show our prices unless registered as we are a trade supplier and the market is fierce! however as I stated before many amateur photographers to make a good living selling their work, so we will accept these orders too. (only last week we found anew company had ripped off a similar name to ours and nicked content off our website. They sold crap quality canvases.....and were more expensive then us...... However they still had the brains to copy some of our pages! So frustrating) so that's a couple of reasons, just so we can monitor who's registering on the site. We do not use your info to bombard you with marketing etc. As for the example of our work, we have got pictures of this, on the home page it shows a display of canvases in our shop so you can see them there and also on the quality page we have a canvas front and back with our USP's on. I do get where your coming from with photos of products etc however on many other sites(not all) the canvases you see are Photoshop "mock up's" hence why we showed the shop wall canvas display and a front and back shot of the canvas on the quality page to show it's real and not a mock up..... We our opening are 3 rd studio/ print house in the coming weeks and I do plan on some new product shots then.... So if I figure out how to post them up on the forum I will do.... Hope all this helps explain a bit.

Can anyone tell me if there are any rules on here regarding linking back to websites, promoting your company etc? I dont want posts removed......

Thanks Ben  Not sure what criteria has to be met but is it not worth using the contact form on the advertisers Forum? You might be able to get a steady flow of orders from TP members.

Most of the forum members that have answered this thread have their website and company branding on the bottom portion displayed.

Just had a look to see how it's done but can't work it out.

Hopefully another member will be along soon to explain.

The rules state:
# Adverts or commercial content or solicitations. We do not allow traders or commercial ventures selling or trading on the forums, either items, services or otherwise unless explicitly pre-approved by the site administrators. If you wish to use the forums commercially, please Contact Us with your request and details.
# Links to commercial sites by members with a financial or personal link to said sites.

It would probably be worthwhile Ben using the 'Contact Moderators' button to enquire about 'advertising' costs. I don't know whether there is a tiered system, but as a registered advertiser you can put the link in your signature, open up a couple (I think) of threads in the advertisers section, and blowing your own horn is slightly less frowned upon.

This thread would so far be considered OK I suspect as you are defending yourself/company.

I suspect that without paying/registering, you would be able to put your URL in the 'About Me' section of your user profile. That would help people once they realise you print canvas for trade.

I too had to check out the quality of these wraps considering the lead times stated, as I have turned clients away due to time constraints & this seemed to offer a perfect solution for me.

Reporting back I can say that Ben was very helpful and kept me fully updated with the progress of my order, a nice personal touch. I ordered a 20x16 B&W wrap on Monday and received it lunchtime today (Wed). The quality is really impressive, corners are very neat and the rear tape is nicely finished. The packaging actually took longer to get into than it did to place the order.

I am really impressed with the service offered and I will have no hesitation to use Trade Canvas Print again. The price is on a par if not a little cheaper than my previous supplier of 4 years. Try them out guys you will not be disappointed.

Well done Ben credit where it is due and thanks for proving me wrong also lol.

I have been using Bens printing service for about a year and have always found him and his team to be helpful and professional. The quality of his finished product is superb, i have never been disappointed with any of his work. My clients have always been thrilled with the end result. I have ordered late at night and collected before mid day the next morning.
I have been into his premises and seen first hand the state of the art equipment he uses, not many printers I know would let you do that.
Keep it up Ben

Ben, what's the smallest canvas you do. May get 3or4 done to fill my bedroom wall. On iPod and too late to set up trade account. Even though I'm not trade!

Hi As mentioned already the smallest canvases we supply are 8" x 8" square at £12.80 + postage however you would get 10% off your first order with us. Send us an email if you need further info as I do not check on the forum that regularly. Thanks Ben

Just about to place an order on these guys this evening, based on the positive info here. Will let everyone know how I get on but sounds like all will be very good!

Hi Mark,

Have just seen your post on here, by now you would of had your canvas from us.....hope you liked it and that you were happy with are quick service.....

Regards Ben

Hi Ben, yep, got it last night, very happy thanks, the packaging had been damaged in transit but hadn't affected the canvas as the bubble wrap did its job. The only minor thing is the hangar isn't quite central so I will need to reposition it so it hangs straight but that's a couple of minutes job.

Thanks for getting it here so quickly and doing a top quality job.

Hi Mark,

So glad it lived up to your expectations! sorry about the hanger....sometimes even a mil or 2 off centre can be a problem, I'll make sure I tell the guys here to take a bit more time attaching them to make sure we keep it 100% central....and I'll do the same of course!! Anyway I am glad the service and quality were what we promised to deliver....I do pride my company on delivering exactly what we say.... I look forward to future orders.

Thanks Ben

Well put it this way I'm going to be switching my online ordering service so it takes out my previous supplier and comes your way. In honesty I don't get a huge number of canvas orders, seems to be more acrylic etc however there are still requests for them out there. I have a wedding show in Nov and thinking I will offer a free canvas print for everyone who books with me from the show so that could bring some good business in over the next year or so. If I do I will probably ordering a sample from you to display at the show so people can see what they will get.

Sounds good to me Mark.

Also for everyone who is thinking of ordering in around 2 weeks time, there maybe a 24/48 hour delay on dispatching our orders as we are moving into a larger premises. There may well be no delay but just edging our bets...... We will then have a retail shop as well as a separate printing unit and a brand new 60" printer to go with our 2 42's. Just wanted to give a heads up, there will also be a message reminding customers in our blog.

It's nice to read threads about customer satisfaction
