Novoflex Triobalance Tripod

It seems like I've reviewed more tripods for photo magazines than I've had hot dinners over the years, but never Novoflex. They've been on the list a couple of times but passed over in favour of more mainstream options - and that's a shame really. So I can't help much, other than to say if you like quality equipment with a slightly querky design approach, and you like their prices, then you'll probably get on well with Novoflex. Don't expect a revolution in stability though. I'm sure it's well up to par for the size/spec, but won't beat Gitzo.

Thanks Richard.....I have a Gitzo 5 series, I absolutely love it - it's a rock both in terms of stability and weight and its the latter that's becoming the issue for me.
On the Novoflex, I did do some further research on this model and it seems there maybe some stability issues so it isn't any longer an option.
