Novice Photoshop user - Help please ?

Hi I am brand new to Photoshop and recently downloaded Elements 10. I'm using the guided option to touch up a photograph. It says "Option + Click in a good area.

I can find a good area but can't work out how to use Option + Click. There does not appear to be a Option menu.

Please could someone explain where I am going wrong. Thank you

On macs there is an option key. If you are using a pc it may mean the control key. So hold down the relevant key and using the mouse click in the required area.

I thought the Command was in the Software somewhere and not on my Mac with your help I Googled Options button on Macbook and found out its was the key with the Alt and strange symbol thereon. Many thanks indeed.
