Novatech - still good?

From 1997 till 2009, I bought huge numbers of PCs, components, laptops etc from Novatech. Then I had a change of direction and didn't keep up with computer stuff etc.

Now I need a new PC and am looking at a barebones bundle from Novatech. Prices still seem OK but what about quality? Do they still produce good quality goods? A lot of their PSUs nowadays seem to be own brand. Any idea of the quality of these?

What about customer service? Still as good as it was?

Any thoughts welcome.

Always found customer service at my local branch to be fine, dealt with a return (my purchase error) with a smile and without issue ... never had to return anything faulty :)
 
My experience has been a bit hit and miss with Novatech but nothing that would stop me sourcing parts from them if the price was right.

Bought a bear bones bundle from them once but would never do so again, parts were not up to much

Have only ever had to return 2 things over the years I have dealt with them, both times returning the products was painless and full refunds were issued in due course

I once wrote a negative review of a product which they never posted on there website, they do not seem so keen on posting negative reviews, make of that what you will.

Like I said above though I would still use them for parts should the price be right at the time
 
I've never had a bad experience. Don't think I've ever had they own labelled products. I've mainly ordered components and build myself.

I find them pleasant to deal with.
 
Thanks for those responses - think I'll take a chance on them.

I want to get a barebones and in the past they would allow me to specify changes of components so I'll give them a call and see what they will do for me.
