Is it possible to use a Nova print processor to process 5x4 sheet film?

It depends on holding the film in place securely. If you use the Nova print clip you'll get a couple of small holes that probably won't matter. The holders that are intended to not mark the paper don't go down to such a small size.

Always glad to help mate. (y)

As long as you can keep the film under the chemicals, keep the chemicals well agitated (if applicable) and keep the whole system dark, there should be no problems using it. After all, it's just 3 separate dev tanks at the end of the day.

If you can get some Kodak 5x4 film frames from a dip and dunk system, you'd be sorted. (like these) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kodak-No3...918767?hash=item33b751ba6f:g:Z8IAAOSwr0ZXOHvU

I backed the SP445 film dev tank on Kickstarter a few months ago. I got an update this morning showing their first complete unit from their finished molds but there were issues with the thread on the lid which has put them back by a few weeks. I backed it with the intention of using it to dev my own 5x4 sheet but seeing as I've now sold my only LF kit it might not be that useful when it arrives!

It's certainly do-able Nick, and the 2 pinholes will be in the margin of the sheet and won't be a problem.. Some film even has a hole in the corner for hanging it up to dry, so that would allow you to dip it as a diamond and stop the developer settling out in layers with the stuff at the bottom not being agitated. It's certainly worth trying if you have a Nova, but I'm not sure I'd go buying one. I've got the one with the 4th channel for washing and it's really handy for keeping it all together.
