This is the email I got recently. Yes I know it's a scam, but they really should try harder, as this is the header from the email

Like the messages I endlessly get purporting to be from various banks but written in pidgin English and with bogus links ...

They're getting worse - the mail filters at work are bouncing literally thousands of these every day.

Yep I got one the other day - freaky thing was it was for a download we had been thinking of getting.

I checked with Apple and they said they've had loads of them coming through...

The theory is that they are not looking for clever people like you but naive people who will follow through on the later stages of the scam. It's a filter!
