Hi all.
My name's Dave, I live in the Staffordshire/Shropshire borders, and I've been takign photographs for a few years now.
As you can probably tell by my post count, I'm not exactly a newcomer to the forums, but I've been away for quite a while.
As most togs do at some point, I've been going through quite a slump, both in output, and more worryingly, enthusiasm.
Having had a bit of success in the past (sold a few prints, BBC magazine commission), I had lapsed into not being bothered in the slightest.
However, circumstances have changed for me this year, not in a good way, but in trying to bring some good out of the situation, it's certainly sharpened my focus on doing more with my photography.
I'm happy to report that I've weathered the storm, and have come out the other side.
This year, I plan to enter as many competitions as I possibly can, and to try and get more work, and sell some prints. I thought that coming back here would at the very least help me to share my images, and chat through things with other friendly people.
I have a blog (link below), and also a pro gallery at Photobox where people can buy some of my prints (currently in the process of migrating that to a new version with more images), and I've even recently added a Store, which links to Amazon.
Anyway, I guess I've rambled enough for my re-introduction.
