Not photography related, but am I stuffed ?

I've got an old Sony mp3/Walkman that still has a load of tracks on. I would like to transfer them to my new device. However as I don't have the old computer when I connect it to the new computer it won't let me move any of the tracks as it states that my computer is not authorised. I've tried using the Sony service that allows me to do this but it has ceased to be as Sony have closed their Connect music store.
I've also tried reading the device as a hard drive. The new computer does recognise it as a hard drive but the files within it don't look like music tracks, it's as if it's forcing me to read it through Sony software.

Can anyone help ?

Should have asked what OS you are using as well. Not sure if there is one available here http://sony.mydriversdownload.com/sony-drivers/s_1903_1.html Scroll down the page a bit to view available files the one you need might well be on page two. If not then there must be another place other than sony`s site I would have thought.

...I just downloaded the latest version of Sonicstage and connected the mp3 player to my pc. Didn't have any trouble with it being recognised even though the last time I connected it was to vista and now I'm on win7. I must admit though I did add/remove tracks but didn't try downloading them back to the pc.
