Not long now

Its not long until I get my camera now.
I go fetch it on saturday spend the day with my friend learning to use it (buying it off her) then im on my own with it

Has anyone got any advice ive been doing some reading up and learning as much as I can.

VERY excited if you couldnt tell.

Think you doing the best thing, get it, hold it ,experiment with it, learn you way around the controls, upload your pics to the pc and admire them, have another go then post them here

Yup, make sure you take lots of pics with it! (And try to learn a little along the way too!).

Im getting a canon 350d with kit lens (will get a better lens when I know what Im doing a bit more) .
I think im going to need more than 1 memry card lol.

I mean this in the nicest possible way - I don't expect to see you posting on here for a few days, as you'll be busy shooting with it . I started with a 350D last spring too - you'll have great fun with it.

my dad doesnt use his camer anymore (was offered a job when he was younge rbut turned it down) so he has a good tripod soi ill use that
also got all his filters ect (wont be usuing those until i know the camera)
