I print regularly with DSCL as I run a small print shop on Etsy (Cinderlake) - but DS Colour Labs has created a new website, which is currently running alongside the old one for the time being.
The new site is here: printbox.dscolourlabs.co.uk

Now I'm ok with using internet/websites (one of my many jobs is as a website designer) but this new site doesn't seem intuitive or user-friendly to me at all and I'm struggling to find what I need and make adjustments, Quality-wise, DSCL do fine, if a little slow with deliveries, but if I move to another company without my issues being resolved (and the old site closing) then I will need to seamlessly move to a new print provider. Any recommendations in the UK?
Thanks

For A3 prints, in by 1pm, delivered by courier next day (usually). Other stuff - sorry, I don't know.

"We offer our standard size photo prints on a next working day service to UK Mainland if ordered before 1pm, Monday to Friday"

Certainly see what you mean about that new DSCL website, looks like it was designed 20 years ago
I’ll continue with old one as long as it stays online, after that I’ll have to have a big think..

How are SimLab with speed? I’m constantly frustrated by the snail’s pace that DS Colour Labs send items to me.
I think you'll find the delay is Royal Mail rather than DSCL? Our local delivery office is now only open from 8am till 10am, last posting time, at the main delivery office, has been reduced from 18.45 to 16.30pm.
We now on;y receive deliveries four times per week.
The whole service has gone down the pan!

Possibly is, I’ll have to investigate how it is here, but I’ve never noted DSCL for ever being speedy.

May be the post office mail will improve once the takeover is completed. We can expect changes anyway. So it might be worse.

My delivery from DSCL last week came via DPD, but was arguably no quicker than Royal Mail, as the driver couldn’t be arsed to attempt delivery and just took it straight back to the depot. Thankfully the driver on the following day did his job, but it was still a day late.

I agree re DSCL's website and ordering system, and their speed. I used to be spoilt by Transpacolor and Peak....

However, end product is as I expect it. Just a shame the mounted option is no more.

But Post Office and Royal Mail are 2 different companies... IIRC it is RM that is being bought by the Czech billionaire. Post Office I believe still in public hands.
Not sure I'm with you? Who mentioned the Post Office? It's Royal Mail that deliver prints etc from DSCL and others.

Well, now the site has completely updated to the new site - using Safari or Chrome on iOS desktop, the paper type defaults to Maxima whenever I try to make any changes. It then won't allow me to change the paper type to what I want it to be.
Too late to call them now - but if anyone else can try and see if they are having the same issues with "Prints > "Large Photographic Prints" before I call them tomorrow I'd appreciate it. This is incredibly annoying as I'm trying to get prints ordered for 2 clients and time is of the essence.

Yip, there is something wrong there, default to Maxima.

Thanks. After about 20 minutes of frustration and random attempts, it seems I can order 16x12 Lustre by choosing Prints > Standard, rather than Prints > Large, the latter defaults to Maxima. It’s been like this from day one! As a web designer by trade, it infuriates me that often overpaid web developers don’t test properly. I can’t believe since starting this thread that I’m the only one experiencing this when buying. I’ll email them again, but last time they simply told me the site was working fine..

No problem in windows

I don't think there is a Maxima option on the standard prints.
I'm on Windows

And even the pricing is messed up - though not complaining this time!
