Not dumbing down, no way, definitely not ..........

Saw this story on the telly this morning...

Just wtf has the world come to?
 
I never cease to be amazed by the current trend of people being unable to think for themselves.
 
The way I see it, the more stupid people eat daffodils, the less stupid people the rest of us will have to put up with, can't be bad.
 
Perish the thought that anyone might be responsible for their own actions.


I thought one part of the request from Public Health England was even more ridiculous than the rest

"We are asking you, along with all other major supermarkets, to ensure that daffodils, both the bulbs from which they sprout and the cut variety too, are displayed well away from the produce or fruit and vegetable area."

So supermarkets are being asked to keep daffodil flowers away from fruit and vegetables because some people think they are food!

Heard my mate go on about this last night when I was on the Playstation with him, I wondered wtf he was on about.

I ate one of those clear thin things located inbetween all the fruit once..

No wonder no one buys them and there are always so many in stock, it tasted like crap and was really chewy.
It was kinda cool though, cos I also used it to carry some apples in before I munched it.
 
If your stupid enough to mistake a Daffodil for food your probably clever enough to locate it any where they put it in the store :wacky:
