I've just shot 2 rolls of Portra 120 400 @ 160. I know Portra has great latitude so should I ask processors to rate it at 160 when they dev it or will it be fine at box speed.

I'd stick at box speed. Recently shot some Portra 160 at 6 stops over. It was fine.

My most recent experiment with Portra 400 was rating it at 200 and metering from the shadows and I got the best result (exposure wise) to date. So I think you will be fine processing at box speed.

It'll be fine devd at box speed ....it's only a bit over a stop overexposed which can easily be tolerated with colour negative film

If the highlights turn out blown then it's gotta be down to the togs metering skills :exit::D:D

I did it the other way around - shot half a roll of Portra 160 at 400. Processed at 160, and as far as I remember you couldn't tell which were the ones shot at 400 and which at 160.

As said, process normal. I think it's just 30 secs that we can pull C41 on our process at least.
