To say this chap was not prepared proved very true. Our laptop packed up the other week and we have just booked a job where we need one. Went to PCworld and did not fancy the high prices and so got onto Ebay.

There were two superb looking Sony Vaios for sale locally. I managed to talk both of them into allowing us to take a look. One of them said I could look but not buy as his wife was a teacher and they needed to format the drive.

No problem I said and arrived armed with some images on a card to check it out. For some reason they would not open from the card reader and so I dragged them onto the desktop. I said I would delete them afterwards. Still they would not open so I decided there must be something really wrong. I deleted them as promised and then went to the recycle bin to delete them from there. I quickly shielded my daughter's eyes as up popped their home "bedroom" shots :lol:

The moral of the story - if you are going to sell your computer BE PREPARED - FORMAT THE DARN THING :lol:

did you "accidentally" drag a few to your card?? :)

Hmmmm, I'm not sure what to say. Maybe I'll wait for you to reply to Monkeh ^

No I did not get chance to drag any over. She was quite ok. Not sure if her husband was going to get a warm welcome though when he returned home. I think he might be getting a recycling bin stuffered where the sun don't shine lol

Of course if 'you' had been prepared you would have known about using Shift along with Delete and thus avoided having to peek into his recycle bin in the first place :)
