Norvic-boy's black + white 365...

Something a bit different today... this little blighter was taking the mick all blumen evening! :annoyed:

108/365 .. this was as close as he got, of which I got a half decent shot of him. :) And Briony... whatever you do, don't look at it large. (The grain is ... well... nasty)

another good one. these have a really interesting quality to them, almost like negatives...

Thanks Ian. As this is all practise for my photography exam, I am wondering whether to have a bash as some wildlife on an film slr... could be interesting! :D

I love negatives... Glad you're liking them! :)

thats awesome.. great capture, would love to see one in flight in the wild

Thanks Michelle. They're beautiful creatures indeed...So graceful and peaceful, but then can suddenly hault and dive into the ground for prey. And then get up and carry on like nothing had happened. Quite funny to watch sometimes... :)

nice one today. i like the way the light picks out the fence wire, like a string of lights...

111/365 - don't look large... it was a rushed job, and it terribly out of focus!

112/365 - but to make up for 111, - large!!

112, very, very, very nice! your wildlife stuff is refreshingly different, love it!

like the contrast on 113. i will check it out on flickr for a better image...

Thanks guys... :D

don't worry about not posting recently... It's quite hell-ish recently, plus I need to update my flickr account to pro... I'll get it all done in the next couple of days. :)

117 is superb...

excellent idea. good composition, lighting and focus...

nice dof, shame about the numbering...:D

Just had a catch up....some great shots and well done for keeping up the theme.

No stand outs for me, all really good....but I would say I find some a bit too dark for my tastes, but that may be my monitor too!

Roo

Thanks guys. :D

120/365 ... This picture i tried to convey my current emotions in... been a bit of a hellish week. LARGE.

120 TAKE 2 ... is this allowed? :) LARGE.

ok, take 2 is nice, texture of the wood, contrast, odd composition with the tennis ball. its your 365, your rules, if you allow it its ok...

as for the sunset, well, the sunset is stunning, its even better when viewed large! its almost an abstract, just textures and shapes and a feeling...love it! i want to touch it! i wish i had taken it...

I'm a bit drunk (and upset) so please take this with a pinch of salt.....

Why don't you post your images using photobucket? I understand the reasons for using flickr, but with photobucket you have a much wider choice of sizes....

Flickr "medium" isn't doing your images any favours at all! :shake:

There is some truly great stuff in this thread, infact there is some really really awesome stuff in this 365, but I think you need to show it off more! Posting at 800px on the longest side would improve these images no end....

Really sorry Toby, I honestly don't mean to offend you in any way. Quite the opposite in fact, but I really enjoy your 52 but I think I'd enjoy it even more if i didn't have to squint at all your photos!!

Photobucket is free, use it and enjoy!!

fab shots.. love the deer one, is a tad dark but a great shot all the same :)

Thanks guys... I had another look at it last night and realised it was a tad dark... I then remembered that I edited it in a room where the lights were switched off! Maybe causing me to think it was brighter than it actually was! Lol. I'll re-edit it tonight and post... Plus yesterdays shot was a barn owl, I haven't got it on t he puter yet, so i'll do that tonight too! :D

deer is much better, like the hare, barn owl rocks!

Thanks mate! I prefer this deer too!

The barn owl shots are getting closer and closer. He's getting so close I can hear him!

that one is amazing! i saw some owls close up at the weekend, they were incredible...

absolutely magnificent creatures. Something that everyone must experience IMHO! lol
