Northern Ireland Novice

Greetings happy snappers!

Been mildly into photography through several phases in my life and actually signed up here a couple years ago to ask advice about buying a Nikon D50. The Nikon wasn't with me very long and I ended up changing it for a FujiFilm S9500 which suited me better and actually gave me better shots strangely.

My photographing habits in recent years have been sporadic at best until a few months ago when I discovered that when exploring abandoned buildings (another sporadic hobby of mine) one could photograph them with some very pleasant results so I've just upgraded the S9500 for the newer model (FujiFilm HS20EXR) and started taking it all a bit more seriously and with distinctly more regularity than before.

Therefore I figured it was about time I joined a forum to see if I could learn any tips for taking my Urbex photography up a notch (or 6) and it has led me back to here again.

are there no N.I based photography forums?
not saying it will be the case here but i often find mainland forums are a little funny about us Northern Irish ones being on their boards lol.

I've found this place really helpful & inspiring for everything photographic.

I don't know of any Northern Ireland forums for photography, but there's a good few here from Northern Ireland.
