Ah yes I remember you mentioning the gout mate, hope that clears soon!

Well you can drive to within 10meters of the hide I use (which has the feeders etc) it's about a 1.5mile walk all the way around though, I think.
 
Actully! I mentioned it to Ian, and said when you give me a date, I'll inform Joe, to see if he is interessted! So there! :P

Maybe there's potential for 2 puss up gropes ( never could spell Groups :lol: ) Here
I mean social get togethers
Reading through the location of members that have replied so far
A lot are north Northants wellingbro, Etc

We have a"Nothampton" itself
"Bedford"
& A couple from "Mk"
Could be a North / South divide? .................Just musing

Maybe it's just me.....but Northamptonshire isn't really THAT big y'know (but then I originally hail from West Sussex and when you add that to East, it gets quite big :| )
 
Northampton itself would be fairly central for all??? I don't know it, so cannot recommend anywhere, but no doubt someone else can. How about a meet for food/booze where we can then decide if we fancy a photo meet in the area.....anywhere photographic in this county? :lol:
 
Northampton - easy peasy to get to from whichever end you're coming from and lots of places for parking ......I'll ask those 'in the know' for some suggestions as to good places to go :thumbs:

Northampton itself would suit ( about 20 miles from me and about the same from Bedford I beleive, Ladybird? ) I was thinkin' about you guys up the top end kettering and beyond etc.
I don't know "it" particually well but I am sure that someone does
What about the last friday of the month for a meet date?
Do we want less regular meets? more regular meets?.
If we are serious guys & Gals then lets do it
 
The south side of Northampton would be very nice as I would be coming from just north of Stevenage :thumbs:

Door to car park in the middle of town is about 27 miles for me :D

Regular but not too frequent meets would work for me (and Ladybird HAS to come otherwise I think I stand to be the only girl :thinking: )

9 persons, Thats not to shabby! and enough for an informal club / gathering call it what you will.
I guess we are geographically diverse enough to be able to suggest photo oppertunities in the surrounding counties to keep us "amused"
Anyone know of pub in Northampton with a small meeting room we could
commandeer for an intial meeting? to introduce ourselves without having to shout above the babble or music?
Or maybe a chinese / Indian restaurant if you prefer

throw it open to a vote? I would have thought evening Fri / Sat? I work the odd weekend too :( but I would have thought that the end of the week would suit most people?

Music's Ok but I thought for the first, at least, a bit of hush might be a good idea while we make aquantances ( for those that don't know each other?)
And we can make our own babble ;)
 
Aye, well I work friday, saturday and sunday nights, but I should be able to get one off every now and again, aslong as I inform them with a enough notice :P
