I like the external shot of the Albion mate, really suits the style of the pub. Also, the bokeh on the Westie shot looks like a medium format camera so I was surprised it was shot on the F100!
 
I believe its known as a 6-pack....(possibly of lard) :D

Thanks Steve, yes the Albion looks ok. I'm really pleased with the Westie shot as well, as you say has a lovely shallow depth of field.

As mentioned in the other thread, my black and white shots were rather compromised, although I may post some in a later post. Here are some colour shots instead, starting on Portra 160 shot with the Pentax ME. I rather liked this shot, all angles and 4 different modes of transport (counting flying:nuts:):



I also liked these umbrellas just inside the walls (I suspect the Vivitar 28mm lens must have been on the ME at this point):



That was the last of the Portra, and I reloaded with my first ever roll of Agfa Precisa transparency film. I was a bit nervous, as my earlier experiment with Provia 400X had produced some very poor results, but I was quite pleased: some nice rich colours and sharp. This is the main street, seen from where the Walls cross over it:



I really liked this footbridge; didn't notice I was getting the evil eye from the woman up there, nor the Andy lookalike bottom left!



... and some colourful blossom...



Probably enough of that!
 
A nice selection of pictures Chris and looks like you had good success with your slide film. For some reason (although I can't put my finger on it!) I like the umbrellas shot most out of the Portra and I think the comparatively muted slide colours on the shot of the main street works best for me.

I'm planning on sending off my remaining 4 films to AG Photo on Friday (payday..) so i'll hopefully have some shots worth adding to this thread.

Lovely work from both of you there. I really like the umbrellas Chris, much better than my attempt. And Nick that was the pub interior shot I wanted but didn't get. More please.

As mentioned, the two rolls of Tmax100 I shot with my Pentax MX were severely under-exposed. I didn't expect to get anything useful from them, but I was pleasantly surprised that the Plustek 7500i and Silverfast did manage to dig something out of quite a few. The histogram was bunched up in the left quarter (or less) for most of them, so there's not much tonal gradation and many have severely blown highlights after the recovery. Anyway I thought it worth sharing a few.

I really wanted rich dark tones in these railings, but like it anyway:



Here's 3 1/2 of the 6 happy campers (Steve, Nick and Rob, with Andy tastefully behind the pillar) plus me behind the lens; I think Wilson was out in front:



I enjoyed the ageing "rockers" at the bandstand (one day I'll learn how to take pictures against the light)!





I took this shot of musicians rehearsing inside the Cathedral in pretty stygian gloom. I didn't think anything could possibly be usable, as the negative is almost completely clear, but in the end I rather like the result:



... and as I raced back to the station for my train, there was just time for a quick pic of the "Carriages for hire":

 
And one I saved for last... Nick wondering where we had all got to after lunch!

 
Actually Chris they turned out better than I'd expected, glad I strategically placed myself behind a lamp post.

The first of these all 3 girls looked and smiled but the AF decided that the sky in the background was the point of focus so by the time I re-focussed and shot the middle girl had turned away, never mind.

I rather like the Pretty Girls shot, Andy! Two playing up for the camera and one who can't be... bothered.

I wonder if we all took that shot of the canal? I have two from different cameras, but I think yours works better.
 
I've just got 4 rolls of film back from AG Photo so will get them scanned as soon as I can. Looking at the slides I think there could be some nice shots....why did I sell my GA645 :0(

Finally, I shot a roll of Kodak TMAX 400 on my OM10/ Zuiko 50m 1.4;

Anyway, nice to get some more shots back from a really enjoyable day. AG Photo took around 1 week to turnaround 4 rolls (1 E6, 3 B&W) and all negatives are in really good condition with no dust/scratches etc.

All feedback appreciated....really wish I hadn't sold my GA645 now I've seen these :'(

Thanks Andy. Yeah, I'm definitely impressed at the quality of the negatives from it. Just need to stop myself buying another one now!

Mamiya RB67, 127mm lens
Few seconds exposure

Had to crop it square due to some flare ruining the corner (can still see a bit of it). Could have done with filtering the shot as it's come out very flat.
 
Interesting! Thanks Rob. The tonal variations across the pic really add to it, I think.
 
Finally finished the Agfa Vista roll in my mju II, which included these nefarious looking characters at Chester...
