North West 200....

I am utterly amazed that in this safety obsessed time, these two events still Happen. May they continue for many years.

Amen brother.

I still maintain that to compete/take part in these two events in particular, one must be the owner of the largest pair of cajones in the world! Muchos respect.

There's a new 3D film out shortly, telling the story of Guy Martin's TT last year...looks awesome.

arch angel - details pls?

Yes Sir, I will be in attendance.

They've been preparing crowd control measure for the past few weeks, stands at the pits, start/finish were being set up earlier this week.

im only live half an hour from the north west 200 course but i'm selling my current gear and have no tele-zoom lens now. if things go to plan though i'll be replacing my old minolta with some canon L glass :)

even if i don't get it in time i'll still make the trip down plenty to see and do without just taking action shots.

Proper bike racing:thumbs:

These MotoGP boys don't know they're born.......what no runoffs?

Have a real good un guys:thumbs:

I live 300 yards from the course and hopefully the media pass will be through soon.....:D

if anyone needs further details about accommodation., etc let me know, even if you only want to meet up for a beer in the evening plus I have some parking spaces which might help someone out as they are expecting 120,000+ spectators this year.....

Don't know if i'll head up to it or not. Its always crazy busy. Was at the cookstown 100 last week, some good racing too. Tandragee 100 starts tomorrow, might head to it, if rain will stay away.

Hopefully Farquar will get a few wins at the Nw200.

TT3d is a really good film, seen it at belfast film festival.

Baz83 if you need any help with a parking space or the likes let me know.....always glad to help a fellow togger

You should have the bbq out and be selling burgers on the day, rather than taking pics lol

you would need to join the wine bar queue around 9am to make sure you get a table.LOL

Hi Chris, sorry for not responding sooner...work been a bitch.

No not seen it yet, but it's coming too our local ImaX soon, can't wait:thumbs:

Going to see it myself soon. Thought I would look like a male chicken going on my own so I thought I wouldn't go. Then my 18 year old daughter said that she would like to see it. :D

Not long to go now, first practice tonight. Haven't decided if i'm going up yet or not. Any suggestions for parts of the track which you can get quite close to the action?

P.S Hope Farquhar and the Dunlops win a few races.

pm me your email and i will send you a map with a few handy places plus if you get to Mathers Cross the house on the corner has a great view of them exiting the corner and also the speed has been reduced so shots guaranteed each time.

Got your email, thanks alot. I'm considering heading up later, weather isn't looking to promising though.

Was up at Ballsally "the magic roundabout" today, awesome day out! Plenty of action.

Would love to go but I've got a wedding video to do, worst bloody weather for that too!

Really enjoyed Tuesday's & Thursdays practice sessions. Not many about on Tuesday evening, I found yesterday more busy. The both Ports were pretty quiet overall.

I'm sure tomorrow will be really busy, I think Ill give that a miss though.

Rain, bomb alert and then oil spill, what a disaster of a day.

Yes must be a b*mmer for the organizers, riders etc and all those who have traveled to watch this event.

Just glad I was in the house watching the live streams and that i got up on thursday to see the practice.

nice pics like the GM one, was there last a couple of years ago, its a bit of a nightmare when it rains on the NW, last race got cancelled, stood at ballysally roundabout, the causeway coastline is mega

Total disaster today. I didn't attend, think a plan B needs thought out. Congrats to Alastair Seeley on his win. Would have liked to see him win the 5 though :( At least they are all getting home safe & sound in one piece.
