North Face Jacket

I'm in Florida at the moment and there are some sales on, looking at buying a North Face Jacket possibly and wondered if anyone has any advice on whats good, looking for a waterproof shell with a zip in fleese lining for the winter trips out.

Anyone got one?

I have got a regatta three in one coat. It is really toasty warm and realy waterproof.

not really helpful but i have just got a north face windwall fleece and its really warm

I don't think you can go wrong with a North Face jacket, pick one you like the style of. I prefer Berghaus myself but only because I like the logo better

yup, I love my north face

Couple of years old now and still looks like new!

You can't really go wrong with North Face gear, if anything be carefull you don't go 'Overkill' for the UK climate and end up with something more suitable on Everest !

Try and get one where you can remove/add an inner fleece. There are so many occasions in the UK when you need a waterproof but don't need the warmth. Obviously make sure its Gore-tex. I would also make sure it has cuffs that can 'tighten up' as this stops the wind blowing up your arms.

Other than that try some on, i think i tried about 20 before i bought.

North Face are great jackets with so much choice. Get one with plenty of pockets!
