Just finishing on BBC4 (25.4.2013), excellent programme on Norman Parkinson - presumably available soon on iplayer!

Watched it earlier, and an excellent programme. :thumbs:

Quality images, for over 50 years, from someone who seemed a nice chap.

His style seemed to evolve over time, and with the times. No doubt influencing quite a lot of the changes. :clap:
 
It was great I recorded it earlier in the week and watched it last night.
 
Great programme.

Another vote for anyone who missed it to catch it on iplayer.
 
There was an exhibition of his prints at Dimbola Lodge last year. They really were top quality both in terms of composition and content and technically.

Just caught up with it, fantastic insight into a true photographic great.

Some of the snaps they showed from the time he spent with Celia Hammond were fantastic :cool:
 
Great character, superb photographer, with fantastic composition and style. Great programme, he was shooting into his seventies:clap:
 
I need a lucky hat.

Can't think of any other reason why my photos aren't as good as Parkinson's
