... so I thought I would.

Finally got around to joining after being directed here a while ago - I'm in the process of setting up a new photographic business on the South Coast of the UK, which is in itself rather exciting :clap: scary :help: and thrilling :bang: all at the same time...

I've been a photographer of sorts for over 20 years. First SLR was a Zenit E, then came the EOS 600(35mm), the EOS 500 (dSLR) and now the EOS 7D. Can you see a Canon theme developing?!

Over the years, I've been in independent photographic retail, a brief stint taking pics for a couple of small publications, working with local community groups and, more recently, building the portfolio for what could be a career. With luck...

I just thought I'd scrawl in this area, giving a quick About Me thing and hope that someone, somewhere, will be able to point me in directions that I out to go.

Hi Rob welcome to TP.. :wave: You have def came to the right place there are a number of pro togs on this site that can help or give you support...have a look in the talk business section ..you can fire in a few questions there to begin with :thumbs:
 
Hi Rob, good luck with the new venture! I took the plunge and started my full time photography business just over two years ago... Still loving it and not regretted it... Yet!

Hope it goes well for you, you'll get plenty of help here. Welcome to TP!
