Non Digital SLR lens with a DSLR body?

Hi all,

my mum has this old SLR lens from the 70s which apparently is very very good but we no longer have a body to attach it to.

I was wondering is it possible to attach it to a new DSLR body? The lens is a M C Soligor 35-105mm

possibly with an adapter if its a differnet lens mount. however you will probably find that it will be full manual as most SLR lenses from that long ago may not communicate with modern bodies.

What make/model was your mum's old camera, any idea?

If you find out what the mount is then you can get an adapter - knowing the make / model of your mums camera is the best start - otherwise a photo of the lens mount may help an eagle eyed member work it out.

As said before, problabl full manual only (Very likely in fact!)

I must disagree I have a Soligor 135mm that I use on my 350D and the results are very acceptable,as per this one
