Nokia N900 FM Transmitter

Just got a new N900, and I want to try and send music tracks to the nearby FM radio. However, I get to the track I want to play, turn on the transmitter and select the relevent wave length, radios turned on, but doesn't play? It keeps playing on the phone, but with no volume.. Any more experienced people know what I'm doing wrong?

IF its anything like the n97, the if you plug the charger (atleast car charger) but do not charge the phone, it extends/strengthens the signal range. Its waht i do in the van.

I'll give that a go, but at the mo it works fine for about 4 metres away. Its a great function isn't it? You can even watch movies/videos and transmit the sound.

I like for use in the van i have a play list just set it to random every time i jump in just press play for i get around 12hrs play time where i wont hear the same track track twice, much better then the radio. Just depends on how far you drive (if using on the car radio) at home it isnt a problem.
