Currently using Topaz Noice Reduction plugin for CS5 which seems to do a pretty decent job. Just curious what other people were using out there and, more importantly, has anyone used Topaz but actually found anything better that I should consider?

Holy Moly!!!!!!

Just tried Imagenomic noiseware and it's awesome!!!

Have used Imagenomic Pro and thought it was the Bees Knees but now use Nik Define..............most excellent!

+2

I've found most topaz plugins to be absolutely pants. :)

Really? That's interesting. Topaz is my first experience with any kind of noise reduction and I thought it was doing a reasonable job. Looks like I need to give one of the others a try - with the chance they might end up knocking my socks off!!!

Noiseware for me too, I did a comparrison test a while back and it came out best for me.

I have a Canon so I don't need to use it much :D

I use Neat Image standalone which does quite a reasonable job:

quick question, would you guys use this on all your photos when editing a shoot? or just "noisy" ones you think need it?

Just noisy ones, at normal iso theres not usually an issue with noise.
