IMG_7525.jpg by Keith, on FlickrThanks Simon, we were planning a visit to Aber falls, thinking wall of waterA wall can be many things.….maybe a log wall is a little bit of a shoehorn, but I agree with you, it’s a lovely image, so it’ll work for me.
Thanks Kell, that was my line of thoughtI must admit, I was thinking this yesterday when looking for things to shoot as to what constitutes a 'wall'.
Old forts used to be made of wooden stakes, but you'd never describe the outer rings as fences, but walls. same as old wooden cabins...
So I think walls don't have to be brick. Either way, the logs image works well.
The colours in your chosen image are great and it's nice that the wall isn't immediately obvious.
Thanks Helen. FenceAll work for me. I had to look harder at your chosen image as my first thought was "that's a fence"![]()

DSC00008.jpg by Keith, on FlickrThanks Dave, I was going to get rid of the wires but was told I needed to do something so posted it, then forgot. Will have another look at it, if I don’t forget.I like that.
Lose the wires and boost the co,our a bit and you've got a winner![]()
Thanks Pete, can’t argue with thatAs Dave mentions

Thanks Tim. Have a few Hi8 tapes but nothing to play them on, just had a few tapes put on a USB stickNot sure we've got many VHS' left, but plenty of cassettes hanging around (albeit usually TDK) here.
Works well for the theme and B&W processing suits it.
Thanks DaveOld is a cool blast from the past.
