Week 44 captive
Went to Dunham Massey (NT site) they have a deer park so captive deer hopefully. Most of the trees are also enclosed with metal or wooden barriers to prevent the deer getting at them.

A wall can be many things.….maybe a log wall is a little bit of a shoehorn, but I agree with you, it’s a lovely image, so it’ll work for me.

I must admit, I was thinking this yesterday when looking for things to shoot as to what constitutes a 'wall'.

Old forts used to be made of wooden stakes, but you'd never describe the outer rings as fences, but walls. same as old wooden cabins...

So I think walls don't have to be brick. Either way, the logs image works well.

The colours in your chosen image are great and it's nice that the wall isn't immediately obvious.

Silage bales are being left in the field by a few farms around here, believe they will use an electric fence and feeder. From a distance looks like as though the bales mark out a race track, pretty fast road with lots of bends so not worth stopping or walking down though. Bit of Autumn colour left.

Galch farm, the white building, is where Hugh Middleton grew up in the 1500s. Self taught engineer, his scheme the new river brought water to London from Hertfordshire. His brother Thomas was Lord Mayor of London.

Week 48 arrows

Thought I would make an effort this week, got the tripod and camera and off to the round about. Got there and camera with a base plate won't fit on the newish ball head because of the safety thing to stop the camera sliding off, didn't have an Allen key to remove it so phone pic again . not far away but its -2C
Roundabout complete with a Christmas tree and a house, house owners did not want to sell when bypass and roundabout was built.
