Interesting picture, there is lots going on there.
Thanks Paul, just noticed the house with the hot tub have put panels up to get a bit of privacy from their next door neighbours

I know that view well, excellent shot for the theme

Thanks Allan, first time we have been along the walls - they are quite impressive.

That made me want to know the link to the theme. Interesting contrast of techniques

Thanks Alan
The high key pic of Charlie should have been lighter/less shadow and dark areas but Charlie was getting fed up posing and didn’t want anymore treats :) , the low key shot is not too bad I think- but welcome any constructive criticism (y)

Great shots of your dog Keith and a good idea for the theme (I had the same one...).

An interesting pair of images. The first one looks like something you might see on "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Two nice images Keith. I'm drawn towards the first slightly more.

Week 49 High Contrast
One of our dogs was crying at 4:45 this morning, which thankfully is quite unusual. Anyway I thought she might want to go out for a wee so went downstairs, opened the door
and she looked daft at me- pretty sure she thought it was breakfast time.
Had a look outside and thought that looks a bit contrasty. :)

Week 50 Past
Grey days :(
About 60 years ago picnickers on the riverbank would wave to the train passengers

Aber falls
In the foreground are the remains of an Iron Age round hut, the waterfall is igneous rock from volcanic action, there was a glacier here at one time and clog makers would camp here up to the 1920s using the alder wood

I agree that your chosen shot is the stronger of the two. Thanks for the commentary.

Plus one for your chosen shot. I thought I recognised the location before I came to this page.
