no right click

help ive lost my right click :bang: i,m using windows vista with ie8 and when i right click to copy and paste nothing happens. :shrug: it works off of the page but not on it (if that makes sense). i can right click my desktop etc but as soon as i hover over a web page nothing, what have i turned off? :bonk:

Some web site can and do disable this option, to protect the content, what web site are you trying to copy/paste from?

You have any addons installed for ie8?
If so,disable them and see if that solves it..

It's a old classic but... have you tried a reboot!!

Failing that can you use the short cuts for copy paste Ctrl+C & Ctrl+P?

just tried the add ons nothing so off to reboot back in a mo

If Reboot brings no joy,then check the following:-

Go into regedit
navigate to:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions

If there is a Key called NoBrowserContextMenu, double click it and change the value to 0.

Failing that-I'd run a decent anti-spyware tool .. (Spybot S&D is my tool of choice..)
