29th June Norisring (D)
13th July Moscow Raceway (RUS)

They said in a press release:

No longer on the DTM calendar are Brands Hatch and Zandvoort. “We witnessed great races at these circuits and have to say thank you for the good cooperation. In 2014, however, we want turn towards other interesting markets,” Aufrecht explained.

Which is a shame, DTM was pretty much our photography highlight of the year, the one chance of something with lots of glamour and glitz. A chance to get creative with the photography.

Yes, how could we forget the sparks!

That's the last of the international race meetings at Brands finished too... no A1GP, WTCC, Superleague, WSB... even F2!

Obviously the true world series are all running away to the emerging economies and since Europe no longer holds all the best circuits its a huge number of circuits vying for an ever decreasing number of events.

Some world series don't visit the UK anymore - WTCC and now DTM (and I'd class that as world in recent years too). Wouldn't be surprised to see WSB drop the UK too!

It was the whole show package that I liked... F1 or motogp level of quality

Far better than F1 or MotoGP, us regular folk can get into the paddock and pit lane at a DTM event without needing a new mortgage.

Bit of a shame for UK fans (although too far for me to do again anyway) but the racing wasn't the best. Was rather hoping to see them at a real circuit like Donington.

If you really want the DTM experience, go to the Norisring - a great weekend of racing on an amazing circuit, can't get closer to the action than at a street track and easier to get to than Brands Hatch.

Yes, whilst I'm not a big follower of DTM, the other non-Brands races I've seen on the telly are far more exciting.... one circuit in particular I remember... a street circuit in Neuremberg? Really basic circuit layout but oh boy what a belter of a race.

Can we now get rid of those ruddy high fences on the run up to Druids on the infield.

Hahaha, I'll ask that question this weekend :)

I think it was mentioned ;).

Great pity, did like DTM, colour, noise and a good few sparks, always made for some interesting shots.:'(

Brands Indy was always a pointless place for it. Went the first two years in 2006 and 07 before the novelty wore off. And as for the support package - there's only so far you can tolerate a 40 minute F3 race around Brands Indy! :tumbleweed:

Did you get to see the Euro-NASCARs on the support package, they were there 2012, not sure if they were on it before. Real door-handle racing and seemed perfectly suited to the Indy circuit short-track layout.

Euro nascar was awesome! Vip passenger laps less so lol

Nope, never saw Euro Racecar on the support package - although this year's SpeedFest with them headlining looked pretty awesome. The most interesting support series I saw was the World Superside Championship in 2007.
