No metadata info in Bridge

Can anyone help me out with a problem with Bridge. When I load my RAW files in bridge I can see the thumbnails, but when I click on the preview I only get a small image with black bars on the top and bottom.

I also have no matadata info about the camera used and the aperture etc.

If I convert the files to DNG on import, I can get the metadata info but can't see any thumbnails of the pictures.

Been looking on net for some answers for a couple of hours now and about to give up. Lol.

You may want to check that you have the latest version of bridge installed. Not sure what version of bridge supports your camera.

Just checked images I have as dng's and I get the thumbnail and the meta data. Conversion to dng was done via Lightroom, but I assume it's the same engine as the Adobe DNG converter.

You also need to ensure that the DNG conversion via the converter is compatible with your software. Look on the preferences pane to ensure you have the correct conversion selected
