No flash in live view

Ok, I'm not that concerned but...

I was pulling my hair out today wondering why the flash triggers would not work, doing what all idiots likle me do and going through everything then I found out I was as I normally do using live view, switched it off, flash.

:cuckoo: but why :shrug:
 
IIRC Set the "Live view function" to "disable" when using a non Canon flash. Flash will not fire in mode 1 or 2 HTH
 
Ah, thank you, we have a wonderful language, I prefer to use it all where possible.
