[S3]I'm not happy![/S3]

This year Starbucks in the UK are not putting Egg Nog Latte on the Christmas menu. Rather then being available from early November until stocks run out (often into January), it will only be here for "a limited time in December".

Oooh I'm cross!

Why would anyone want to go to Starbucks?

Too sweet. The Starbucks on our site are doing it whenever you want and it is just over a quid too as opposed to nigh on a grand on the high street.

Reminds me of a semi-drunken conversation I heard once, eggnog was being discussed...
.."Anyway, what is eggnog?"
"Well, err.. its egg and nog isn't it?"
"Uhh, yeah.. right.. egg and nog.."

They were both none the wiser but quite satisfied with the outcome :D :cuckoo:

110g (4oz) Icing sugar
6 Large eggs
Nutmeg to taste

Separate the eggs.
Beat the yolks slowly whilst adding the sugar; until the mixture is pale and golden.
Now slowly add in the brandy and rum, then beat in the milk and half the cream.
Set aside until just before serving.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
Whip the remaining cream and icing sugar until thick.
Top each glass with whipped cream and a little freshly grated nutmeg.

Why would anyone want to go to Starbucks?

Well, not alot of people know this but at SB you can actually get a straight up, non faffed with, good and strong cup of nice and fresh normal filter coffee. :D

Ahh Starbucks.......

The reliable place to go when you need to work between meetings. Starbucks have a policy of allowing you to plug your laptop into the mains while drinking their coffee. (in fact they actively promote it)

So this week has seen me in 3 or 4 different Starbucks in London as I've had a shed load of customer meetings and needed to work in between.

Costa have complained at me for doing the same; so Starbucks get my business....

But you ain't putting any eggs in my coffee !!

Steve
