Hmmm, odd one this?
I've got a Fujifinepix s7000.
I've got two compact flash cards for it, I put one in the other day and got a 'no card' error so I tried the other one 'no card' error again.

I've checked both compact flash cards on my PC and i am able to read/write to them so I am sure the cards are ok.

As a back up, i needed the camera, I put a XD card in the other slot in the camera and this works fine.

I'm suspicious that i am missing something simple rather than something being wrong with the camera.

What could i have done, what do you think may be wrong with the camera :thinking:
 
Have you tried the old battery out battery in trick. It sometimes works? :thinking:
 
You could also try re-formatting the cards and or connecting the camera to the pc whilst the card is in it ie for downloading.
 
Have a close look inside the camera at the CF slot - you might need a torch. Any of the pins bent?
 
Right, the format worked on my little Compact Flash 256mb but not on my 2gb one?????
Any other ideas?
 
Have you tried looking up the latest downloads for your camera? You may get some luck by re-installing/updating the cameras software (mind block on the correct term :bang:)

Firmware lol new i'd get there eventually
