I'm looking to buy the Di866 for a Nikon D200 and have been looking at the best prices. There are a number on fleebay, both UK and HK.

Has anyone purchased one from an ebay seller and would you recommend them ?

Are there any other alternative sellers ?
 
for a few more notes you can pick up a sb-700 on fleabay, or like me i picked up a mint cont sb-600, boxed with all accesories and manuals for £100.
 
Thanks for the input but from the views I've read on here the di866 is higher spec'd that the two you mention and I want a new unit.

Sounds like lots of peeps on here have bought the di866, just interested where they bought it from ?
 
I bought mine from Amazon for i think £185. Very happy with it.
 
Amazon don't appear to sell it directly....which merchant did you use ?

Megadeals UK was the merchant, to be honest I hadn't even realised it wasn't direct form Amazon.
 
Another question....Just looked at Megadeals and they do two versions of the Di866 (Nikon). One is labelled NEU and the other isn't. The NEU is £0.79 more expensive. Does anyone know what NEU means ?
 
I've got a Di866 and a Di622 (for the wife) and although mine are Canon fit I got both from ebay, from a very reliable seller called DIGIGOOD. I'm not certain they do the Nikon fit flashguns, but I can't see why not. I've bought lots of other items from them too and never had any problems with them. I've also bought lots of gear for both me and the wife from Panamoz.

I have just recently bought one from Jessops. Loving the unit. But just came across ebay and found someone selling for significantly lower price!
