Just wondering where you have brought this flash gun from? All I seem to find is simply electronics, don't know if I want to trust them or not.

Thanks for the replies. I would assume too that the 129 is the 622 mk2. Park cameras only seem have the mk 1 version.

what are they like as a company? What would happen if I need to use the warranty? Any ideas?

There are a few threads on here about them. They are a reputable dealer. I've used them a few times. My most expensive purchase was a Canon 135/2 lens, but I saved around £200 on UK prices at the time and the warranty is international on Canon lenses.

For the Nissin flash I imagine you'd have to send it back to Hong Kong, which would likely wipe out a good part of the savings, although probably not all unless it went faulty more than once. £176 vs £209 from Digital Depot is a saving of £33. I can't imagine it would cost that much to return it once, or even twice. Even with a UK purchase you might have to swallow return shipping costs, although I dare say they'd be cheaper than sending to Hong Kong. It's probably worth a gamble if the reliability of the units is generally sound.

I got mine from Amazon... even if not direct, I've had successful Marketplace purchase, and disputes... In some ways its more important to see how things are handled when they go wrong...
