NISSIN Di622 Mark II help!

would a NISSIN Di622 Mark II work with my d3100 i have a yongnuo YN460 at the moment and its a great flash for what it costs but would like one with i-ttl and was wondering if the Nissin would do the job..

Why do you want a Nissin have you considered alternatives, you dont say what it is for.

thanks for the reply,it doesnt have to be the Nissin its not for anything in particular as the onboard flash is pants

Should do, you won't be able to make the full use of the 'remote' mode though as the d3100 doesn't do CLS commander mode from the pop-up.

TTL on shoe or on a TTL cable should work fine though, and if you ever end up buying a CLS compatible master flash or upgrading to a more expensive body, that feature will be there for you.

It will be fine I have a Nissin Di622 MK I and it always does what I need it to and the Nissin Di622 MKII has a built in slave mode which uses the pop up flash to trigger it.

I have the Di622 and very pleased with it on my D90. OK so not as many functions as my Metz but does everything I use it for and cost a lot less.
