After looking until my head is ready to explode I'm 99% sure I'm gonna go for this flash, I'll be using it on my d3100. Is anyone else using this on a d3100? How is it size wise/performance?

If there's any other alternatives I might have missed for around £100 I should take a look at? I've seen the di622 for £110. I've sort of ruled out the yongnuos out I think. At the moment I'm leaning towards this over the Jessops 360afd.:help:

Thanks for any help, I know you must have heard it all :|

J have used my Nissin di622 mk 1 on both my Nikon D50 and Nikon D90 and have more than pleased. I'm not too sure what extra the mk2 has but it doesn't seem that more expensive than the mk1 so I'm sure it will be good value for money.

Thanks Ken, it's sooo confusing buying new gear, I thought I ruled out the yongnuo but I still keep looking at the 565ex which is just over £100 but from Hong Kong.:bonk:

I have the nissin 622mk2 and prefer it to my father in laws Jessops 360. It has more adjustments, including a lower power 1/32th

Thanks Steven, I think I've made my mind up on it now. Just one last question, will I be able to trigger it off camera using the d3100 pop up flash?

Thanks :D

Why would you rule out the Yongnuo (560)?

I have 3 of these and one Nissin di-622mk11 (on a 7D)

Both models are great value flashes.

Hey Rob, I was looking at the 565ex, but for my budget I could only get one from Hong Kong so I thought I'd go for the Nissin that I can get from this country. I didn't really look at the 560, what would you say was the better flash out of the two? (di622 and yn-560)

Just bagged myself the DI 622 mark 2 for a bargin price (well I think so) from ebay. Just need to learn how to use it now :)
