Nissin Di622 as a second flash

Hi, I want to start using two flashes, possibly both off camera or one on and one off.

Is the Nissin Di622 a good option on a budget?

I use canon and current have a EX430.

Advice appreciated.

as far as I am aware you cannot trigger the Nissin Di622 wirelessly. I would suggest a 430EX for on camera ettl work and something like a yongnuo 460 for off camera.

The Di622 has an optical slave, it can do remote TTL as a slave (like the 430ex). If you can stretch the budget a bit further the Di866 will act as a master and fire your 430ex remotely.

Thanks for replies. I will probably look at second hand. You dont seem to see many of the 866's come available second hand, might look at a 430EXii.
