Whats your thoughts on it, any issues, what body do you use it with, use it as a slave to other flash guns? use it off camera? have you built your own battery pack for it? what modifiers do you use it with?

I Bought one of these as a backup/slave to my 430ex mkii.
Upshot: I don't remember the last time I used the 430ex mkii as my primary light source. It's that good, I love it. Off camera it works well too and i use it with generic fits all type modifiers without issue, cannot help re. The battery pack though so over to someone else on that one.

Very happy with mine. Use with D700, D7000, remote triggers, and various modifiers. For the price.. excellent value. Would buy another.

I got one yesterday from DigitalRev, 4 days from HK to Cornwall, not bad!

Haven't had much of a chance to use it yet but very impressed with build quality and power so far!

I've read some real life tests/reviews where it consistently out powered the 580ex mkii.

I'm planning to buy a bunch when funds allow, from what I've read they're the best value, all the cheaper options suffer from being cheap.

I have used the Nissin for about 4 months with a Canon 7D. It has never not fired. Used on Camera and off camera via wireless triggers, and fired as a slave with another flashgun having the trigger.

I used a canon 430exII before and this is definitely more powerful.

I think the menu is much easier and quicker to use once you get a hang of where things are.

Nissin - absolutely great device. My main flash, I would buy 3 more, not even looking at Nikon options.

I bought one a few weeks ago from these guys. Good price and turned up on time!

Not really played with it too much yet:bang:

I bought mine from amazon.
